I’m Emily, the founder and designer behind Applegate Florals. Nature has always been where I feel most myself. Working with flowers brings a sense of calm, intention, and connection that has shaped both my life and my design philosophy.

I began my career in education, drawn to serving others and creating spaces where people could show up as they truly are. Floral design became a natural extension of that work—allowing me to continue serving others as my most authentic self.

Today, I design refined, nature-inspired wedding florals that reflect a sense of place and help couples feel most themselves on their wedding day—thoughtful arrangements that feel personal, naturally elegant, and grounded in the landscape.
