I'm Emily, founder and designer at Applegate Florals. Growing up in Vermont, nature has always been where I feel most myself. Working with flowers brings a sense of calm, intention, and connection that has shaped both my life and my design philosophy.
I began my career in education, drawn to serving others and creating spaces where people could show up as they truly are. Transitioning into floral design was a natural extension of that purpose. Today, I use that same intentional approach to guide couples through a seamless, elevated design experience, ensuring the process is as thoughtful as the final product.
Based in Vermont, I design refined, nature-inspired wedding florals that reflect a true sense of place. I create thoughtful, organic arrangements that feel deeply personal, naturally elegant, and grounded in the landscape.
